Site Supervisor Conference & Internship Plan repost

The conference with my site supervisor was very brief as I was able to meet with him early on in this course and had been communicating with him on a consistent basis about internship activities. The following is a summary of my site supervisor conference.
At my site supervisor conference I brought along a printout of my draft Internship Plan, my Skill/Knowledge Area chart, and my School Leader Internship textbook. I began the conference by giving an overview about the objective of the meeting was to review my draft Internship Plan, Skill/Knowledge Area chart, and the 38 skill activities from the textbook and to seek counsel from my site supervisor about the activities I selected and those which he feels I should include. My site supervisor liked the variety of the tasks that I would be completing and felt that it would give me a better understanding of the workings of our district. He suggested that I add in an activity in which I would collect and analyze TAKS data. On his recommendation I included this activity under Competency 006 “Collect and analyze longitudinal assessment data for district campuses noting campus and district trends.” Overall, his comments were very positive and he approved of the plan.
